Custom PC Build & Upgrade

Build it right. Upgrade what matters.

Whether your old PC feels slow or you want a new custom system, we help you choose the right parts, assemble everything properly, and make sure the result is stable — not just impressive on paper.

  • PC Upgrades: SSD upgrades, better cooling, quieter cases, memory and storage improvements that make older systems feel fast and reliable again.
  • Gaming PCs & Workstations: Balanced builds for gaming, video editing, and demanding workloads — with proper airflow, compatible parts, and no hype-driven overspending.
  • Home Servers & Special Builds: Quiet, practical systems for home office storage, backup, networking, and specialized workloads.

Below are a few real examples of what that looks like in practice. In many cases, the problem isn’t the parts — it’s how the system was built or configured.

PC Refreshment

Your old PC lags or overheats?
We can fix that.

Here’s a typical example of how a practical upgrade can transform an aging PC without replacing it entirely.

Many older systems suffer not from weak CPUs, but from slow storage, poor cooling, and limited memory. Instead of replacing the whole machine, we focus on upgrades that actually make a difference:

  • Replacing HDD with SSD for dramatically faster boot and load times
  • Upgrading RAM to eliminate freezes and improve multitasking
  • Installing a proper CPU cooler to reduce temperatures and prevent throttling
  • Improving airflow with a better case and fan configuration

In this case, a 10-year-old system with a 4th Gen i7 was upgraded with an SSD, better cooling, and improved airflow. The result was a significantly faster, cooler, and quieter PC that feels “like new” — at a fraction of the cost of a full replacement.

Gaming PC & Workstation

Gaming PC or workstation?
Build it once, build it right.

This type of build is designed for people who need strong performance for both work and play — whether that means 4K video editing, demanding applications, or modern games.

The focus is not on flashy parts lists, but on balanced component selection: proper cooling, stable DDR5 memory, fast storage where it actually matters, and airflow that keeps the system performing under load.

Equally important is proper assembly — correct mounting, cable management, pressure distribution on the motherboard, and overall build quality. Every system is configured and tested to ensure stability under real workloads, not just that it powers on.

The result is a machine that stays fast, cool, and reliable instead of looking impressive while throttling, crashing, or developing issues over time.

We often see systems where none of this was done properly — expensive parts, but poor assembly, weak airflow, or no real testing. On paper it looks high-end, but in reality it runs unstable, overheats, or underperforms.

Home Server

Need serious storage or server-grade hardware at home? We can do that too.

For clients with specialized home office or storage needs, we can design and build systems far beyond a typical desktop.

One example was a custom high-capacity server housed in a quiet workstation-style case instead of a noisy rack server. This powerhouse was equipped with 256GB of ECC RAM, a massive 64TB SSD and 96TB HDD storage array managed by dual 16-channel SAS RAID controllers. The build also featured dual 10Gbps NICs, external SAS expansion ports, and a 1200W redundant power supply.Unlike noisy rack servers, this setup is whisper-quiet for a home office. The only exception? The HPE MSL4048 LTO Ultrium, firing up occasionally for cold backups.

If you need a Windows or Linux system, local storage, backup infrastructure, or a specialized hardware solution, we can build it properly and make it practical for real-world use. Most clients don’t need this level — but when they do, it has to be built properly.

What You Actually Get

Prebuilt PC vs Custom Build

Prebuilt PCs often look impressive on paper — high-end CPU, powerful GPU, lots of RGB. But behind the specs, important details are often overlooked.

  • Airflow and cooling are poorly configured → overheating and throttling
  • Entry-level motherboards → limited stability and upgrade potential
  • Memory installed but not properly configured → reduced performance
  • Poor assembly quality → loose mounting, uneven pressure, cable mess
  • No real stress testing → problems show up after purchase

In many cases, the system “works” — but performs like a much cheaper machine.

A properly built system is not about specs — it’s about engineering. Correct airflow, proper mounting, balanced components, and real testing under load.

That’s the difference between a system that looks powerful — and one that actually is.
